Are you registered to vote?

If you aren't sure if you are registered to vote or you have any questions at all about your voter registration status, simply call the Monroe County Voter Registration Office at 349-2690. They'll be more than happy to help you.

Register by Mail

If you wish to register by mail, contact the Monroe County Voter Registration Office for a mail-in form or download a form directly from the Secretary of State's website at http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/vote_reg.html. You will need to complete the form then mail it to the Monroe County Voter Registration Office.

Register in Person

You can register to vote in person from 8AM-4pm Monday through Friday at the Voter Registration Office. It's located in Room 202 of the Justice Building at 301 North College Ave. at the corner of 7th and College Ave. (Click here for a Map to the Justice Building).

Motor-Voter Registration

There are a number of other places you may register due to the National Voter Registration Act Of 1993, also know as "Motor-Voter". The Motor-Voter Act required States to provide voter registration in Motor Vehicle License Branches and many other pubic offices. A small list of the many places where one may register in Monroe County follows:

  • Monroe County Voter Registration Office (of Course!)
  • Motor Vehicle License Branch Offices
  • Any Monroe County Public Library
  • Any High School Administration Office
  • Division of Family and Children Services
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Services
  • Unemployment Compensation Office
  • Area 10 Agency on Aging
  • Bloomington City Clerk's Office
  • and much more!
