Absentee Voting

If you meet these conditions, you can vote absentee by mail...

  • you will be out of town on election day
  • you have a disability
  • you are over 65 years of age
  • you work as an election official on election day
  • you work from 6am-6pm on election day
  • you have an illness or will be caring for someone with an illness or disability that keeps you from the polls
  • you cannot make it to the polls for religious reasons
  • you are part of the state's address confidentiality program

To vote absentee by mail you first need to apply for an absentee ballot at the Voter Registration office in the Justice Building. The Justice Building is located at 301 North College Ave. at the corner of 7th and College Ave. (Click here for a Map to the Justice Building).

After your application is accepted you will receive your ballot in the mail. Then, simply follow the instructions provided and mail it back in.
